Dear Prospective Board Candidate,
The 2010 Parish Organization Board elections have been scheduled for the weekend of April 17-18, 2010 in church after all weekend masses. The deadline for submitting an application is Friday, April 2, 2010. There will be no extensions granted please.
Your application form and information packet are available from the links on this election page. There is information that is common to all organizations as well as information exclusive to Athletics, Parents Club, and School Board which will help you choose the organization in which you want to become a board member.
In general, the links contain a cover letter, application form, description of the election process, board purpose, code of ethics, list of committees, and board eligibility for each organization.
Please use the following list to click on the links at the right for specific information.
1. Election Cover Letter - information common to all organizations.
2a. Application Form Electronic - candidates can fill this form out electronically and return to election committee by e-mail.
2b. Application Form Hard Copy - if desired, a candidate can print this form out and fill in by hand; return to the school office during regular school hours.
3. Election Addendum General - describes the Election Process and contains an "Examination of Talents" sheet, a self-assessment checklist.
4a. Election Addendum Athletic Association - describes the Athletic Association Purpose, Code of Ethics and List of Committees.
4b. Election Addendum Parents Club - describes the Parents Club Purpose, Code of Ethics and List of Committees.
4c. Election Addendum School Board - describes the School Board Purpose, Code of Ethics and List of Committees.
You'll notice there are two types of applications 1) and electronic form that you may fill out and return by e-mail, or 2) a version to be used if you want to print a blank application and fill it out by hand. Kindly submit either version with a photo for publishing your biography in the parish bulletin approximately one week before the elections.
So get started by first reading the Cover Letter and all of the Addendums. Then simply launch the electronic application form 2. Application Form Electronic, fill in the information requested, save it and send it to the respective Election Committee representative listed. If you want to submit and electronic application to a neutral third-party, you may email the application to the school Principal, Dr. Robert Smith at rfsmith@stpatriciaparish.com , or you may print a copy of your completed application and deliver it to the school's main office. Don't forget to include a recent photo with your application as your photo will appear in the church bulletin.
