REQUIREMENTS FOR VOLUNTEERING WITH CHILDREN

PARENT'S CLUB

The Saint Patricia Parents Club is an organization created to foster good will and communication among students, parents, staff, and parishioners. The following committee goals guide the organization’s activities:

To provide opportunities for parents and staff to work together for the good of the child
To strengthen our faith through the celebration of family liturgies
To raise funds through Parents Club sponsored events
To publicize Parents Club sponsored events and activities
To increase opportunities for social interaction within our parish and school community

The St. Patricia Parents Club is comprised of an Executive Board, Standing and Special Committees and the Association, which include all school families. The Executive Board is selected by a nominating committee and elected by the parent body. The Executive Board appoints Standing and Special Committee chairpersons.

All parents are welcome to attend and observe the Parents Club meeting.

FUNDRAISING

Fundraising needs are established annually in conjunction with the School Board Finance Committee and the Pastor. To keep tuition as affordable as possible, the Parents Club assumes responsibility for an agreed upon portion of the school’s operating budget.

In addition the Parents Club sponsors events and activities to enhance the student academic and social environment and community spirit.
