Dress Expectations for Children Making First Holy Communion
Boys may wear white dress shirts, dark dress pants and tie. A suit is not mandatory. Dress shoes are to be worn.
Girls may wear white or pastel dresses with their shoulders covered. A sweater or wrap is allowed. Veils or flowers may be worn in the hair. No corsages, please. Purses should be held by the parents until after Mass. Dress shoes are to be worn. Gloves may not be worn in church.
All children: Prayer books and rosaries should be kept by the parents until after the Mass since they can be distracting.
Please bring any religious articles you would like to have blessed to the rehearsal. All children will receive a gift from the Religious Education to have blessed that night.
REHEARSALS: Children who are receiving at the 10:00 Mass have rehearsal on Thursday, April 28 at 6:00 PM in the Church. Parents are expected to attend.
Children who are receiving at the 1:00 Mass have rehearsal on Thursday, April 28 at 7:15 in Church. Parents are expected to attend.
