All monthly  meetings start at 7:30 PM. HNS Masses are held the second Sunday each month at 8:30 AM.

SPRED - the SPecial Religious Education for Developmentally disabled

We need SPRED catechists for our program. We meet 12 times a year between October and April from 6:30 to 9:30 PM on Tuesdays.

We all have special gifts to share with the mentally and physically challenged of our parish community.

Call one of the chairpersons to attend a summer event, or observe a Fall 2011 session. Gen Stewart @ 708-430-2337 or Cheryl Torres @ 708-769-1245.

This program is based on the method "Vivre" developed by Fr. James McCarthy for his own disabled brother to understand the teachings of Jesus. St. Patricia hosts two SPRED groups. Each group serves our Parish "friends" ages 22 and older. Our "friends" reside both in group homes and in their family homes.

We are a special volunteer ministry that has huge rewards. Each SPRED group meets two Tuesdays a month from September to April. There are a total of 12 sessions during that time period. Sessions begin at 6:30 pm and end at 9:30. For more information about attending a SPRED session to observe what we are all about, please call Cheryl Torres at 708-769-1245 or Gen Stewart at 708-430-2337.
